All Ernte Jackets are collectors items. They were designed by the late Tiffa Novoa, who was a talented designer and innovator in our community. When Tiffa was alive, these jackets were being sold at Barney’s NYC for $5000-$10,000. The time and handwork that is in these jackets is incredible. Vintage army/leather coat that has been completely reworked into a piece of art. The twill top layer of the jacket has been hand printed with a subtle grey french print. On top precision pinstripe stitching covers the entire piece. A double collar has been added - one collar in leather and one in twill, even the underside of the collar has been printed. The bottom third of the jacket, as well as the sleeves have been covered with silk appliqué stitching. The inside of the jacket has been lined with leather for support and then lined again with a hand printed silk. The bottom has a row of black french lace. Zipper closure with decorative leather belt. Two front zipper pockets, lined with hand printed silk. The back has an extremely subtle black on black embroidery design. One of a kind.
